According to the recently announced results of the QS World University Rankings (QS WUR) 2027, Hanoi University of Science and Technology is ranked in the top 1001-1200 universities worldwide, an improvement from the 1201-1400 bracket maintained during the 2022-2026 period.

This is a positive result in the context of the QS World University Rankings continuously expanding its scale and increasing competitiveness. In 2027, the QS organization evaluated 8,808 higher education institutions from 106 countries and territories, of which 1,504 universities were included in the official rankings. Vietnam has 9 higher education institutions featured in this year's rankings.
According to the announced results, Hanoi University of Science and Technology recorded an outstanding performance in the Employer Reputation indicator, achieving 57.2 points. This indicator is built from surveys of businesses and employers worldwide, reflecting the level of trust in the quality of human resources trained by higher education institutions. Continuing to maintain a high score in this criterion shows that the University's training brand firmly holds its leading position, while affirming its ability to meet the increasingly high demands of the domestic and international labor markets.

With a training orientation that meets learning outcomes and continuously improves programs, the University now has 52 training programs evaluated and recognized by prestigious international accreditation organizations such as AUN-QA, CTI, ASIIN, and AQAS. This is an important foundation for enhancing the University's academic reputation while creating trust among learners, employers, and international partners.
Regarding scientific research, the Citations per Faculty indicator reached 25.1 points, continuing to be among the University's prominent indicators. In recent years, the number of international publications, especially in ISI/Scopus-indexed journals, has continuously increased in both quantity and quality, contributing to elevating the academic influence of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in the international arena.
In addition, the Sustainability indicator achieved 24.5 points and Employment Outcomes reached 22.9 points. These indicators not only reflect training quality but also demonstrate the University's contributions to the community, society, and sustainable development.

These results show that the strategic orientations of Hanoi University of Science and Technology are gradually proving effective. In the context of the whole country implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, the University identifies this as an opportunity to further affirm the pioneering role of a technical university in training high-level human resources, developing science and technology, and contributing to the national innovation ecosystem.
