Application Documents:

• Application for admission to the study program (signed by student and home university coordinator)
• Learning Agreement (course selection signed by student and home university coordinator)
• Resume/CV (in English)
• Transcript of Records (overview of grades, in English)
• Proof of language proficiency (proof of the language the student will be studying in, English and/or German at CEFR level B2)
• Copy of ID or passport

Nomination & Application: To be considered for admission to the program, HUST students must be formally nominated by Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).

Semester contribution:

There are no tuition fees at HTW Dresden, but there is a mandatory semester contribution (approx. 360 EUR). The semester contribution includes contributions to the student union, the student council and the semester ticket (available digitally as a “Germany semester ticket”) which is valid for all local public transport throughout Germany.

Semester dates – Summer semester 2026:

· Welcome Week: 09 March till 15 March 2026

· Lecture period: 16 March 2026 until 04 July 2026

· Examination period: 06 July 2026 until 25 July 2026

TO APPLY: HUST students are requested to submit their applications (all documents merged into one PDF file) via the PORTAL: qldt.hust.edu.vn before the deadline, 24:00 2nd November 2025 (Vietnam time). The Department of Partnership and Engagement (HUST) will contact students who successfully submit their applications for further verification/interview (if needed).

Scholarship possibility:
1/ Students nominated by the home university can apply "Saxon Student Mobility Program“ (SSMP Incoming) to come to HTW Dresden in the upcoming semester (application period 01.10.-31.10.2025)
2/ HUST students can also apply for "HỌC BỔNG TRAO ĐỔI QUỐC TẾ" to cover the air tickets and insurance while exchanging at HTW Dresden (Germany).

Tuition fees at HTW Dresden are fully waived under this exchange program.

Living expenses are the responsibility of the students.
