Inauguration of HUST Alumni Chapter in the United Kingdom

On November 24, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Alumni Chapter in the United Kingdom was officially inaugurated in London, marking a significant milestone for the development of the University's Alumni Association. The chapter, established on October 15 this year in celebration of the 67th anniversary of the university's founding, serves as a dedicated platform for alumni based in the UK to foster connections, share ideas, and delve into opportunities for collaboration and growth.

From adversity to acclaim: The resilient journey of Assoc. Prof. Pham Minh Son, 2024 Young Innovator Award Recipient

In his formative years, Pham Minh Son navigated a challenging path, earning a livelihood by collecting trash, and discontinuing his education due to his family's financial downfall. However, upon his return, Pham Minh Son exhibited an unwavering determination to surpass academic expectations, securing numerous scholarships and ultimately being honored with the 2024 Young Innovator Award. Currently, Associate Professor Pham Minh Son is the Chairman of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's Alumni UK Charter.

The first abroad alumni association officially founded in Japan

The HUST Alumni Association in Japan (HUSTA Japan) was officially founded on November 27th in Tokyo, Japan.

Alumni - The Pride of HUST

On the afternoon of October 15, on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the establishment of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2022), a signing ceremony was held with some big Vietnamese enterprises such as PetroVietnam PVN, Vietnam Electricity (EVN), PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL), FPT Corporation, Hanoi Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Joint Stock Corporation (Habeco), Panasonic Vietnam, Vietchem, and HD Telecom.

HUST built the first Alumni House in Vietnam

HUST Alumni House was built to bring together generations of alumni, to connect alumni with current students and the university, thus promoting innovation, creation, and entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneur Lu Thanh Long, alumnus of the School of Information and Communication Technology - Hanoi University of Science and Technology, is now the Chairman of MISA Joint Stock Company. After graduating from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, he has strong enthusiasm and passion to support HUST.

Launching “BK Fund” at HUST for Start-up investments

On January 15, 2021, the "Bach khoa (HUST) Business people’s Party" was organized by HUST Alumni Network. The event marked the launching of BK Fund – an investment fund for innovation and entrepreneurship.
