The DPE is pleased to announce that IIT Indore has introduced Short-term Fellowship Programs for International UG/PG and PhD students for the 2025-26 session. A maximum of 15 fellowships are available under these programs.
The main aim of these programs is to foster long-term collaborations between foreign institutions/ universities (HUST included) and IIT Indore. They also offer international students opportunities to engage in advanced research fields at IIT Indore and promote the exchange of ideas and technologies to achieve academic and research excellence.
Calls for the following two programs are now open:
1. Short-Term Collaborative Research Program for International PhD Students
o This program allows PhD students from foreign universities to undertake part of their thesis work in a faculty research group at IIT Indore.
o Number of Fellowships: 10
o Duration: 1 to 3 months
o Financial Support:
§ Living expenses of INR 35,000 per month
§ Travel grant as per approved institute norms (as per the actuals or up to a maximum of INR 1,20,000 for US, Canada, Australia/ INR 1,00,000 for Europe, UK, Africa, and Japan/ INR 80,000 for SAARC, Asia, ASEAN, and Middle Eastern countries)
§ Basic medical facility at IIT Indore Health Centre as per institute norms
2. UG/PG Foreign Students’ Semester Exchange Program
o This program allows international UG and PG students to study at IIT Indore for a semester. Students must contact an IITI professor or department and submit an invitation letter with their application.
o Number of Fellowships: 05
o Duration: One semester
o Financial Support:
§ Tuition fee waiver at IITI for partner universities
§ Travel grant as per approved institute norms (as per the actuals or up to a maximum of INR 1,20,000 for US, Canada, Australia/ INR 1,00,000 for Europe, UK, Africa, and Japan/ INR 80,000 for SAARC, Asian, ASEAN, and Middle East countries)
§ Basic medical facility at IIT Indore Health Centre as per institute norms
§ Students must cover all other expenses during their stay at IITI
The last date for the submission of online applications is August 15, 2025.
