This morning (April 5), at the AI Day 2026 event themed "Advancing Vietnam with AI," Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Phong Dien - Vice President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology - delivered the opening speech, sharing the University's announcement on innovating training programs and applying artificial intelligence for the success of learners.
  Artificial Intelligence (AI) is creating a fundamental shift for higher education worldwide. AI is not merely a new technology; it is profoundly changing how knowledge is created, and how humans learn, work, create, collaborate, and generate value.

Clearly recognizing this imperative, Hanoi University of Science and Technology identifies AI not only as a field of training and research but also as a strategic driving force to comprehensively innovate the University – from training programs, teaching and learning methods, research activities, and governance models, to the University's academic and innovation ecosystem.
