On August 14, HUST and Adelaide University co-organized the Seminar “Green Skills: Driving Sustainable Workforce Development in Vietnam”.

Overview of the seminar on August 14.
This high-level event, led by senior leadership from the Adelaide University, will bring together academic leaders, government representatives, and industry stakeholders from both Australia and Vietnam to explore opportunities for collaboration in developing green skills — a priority fully aligned with Vietnam’s sustainable development agenda and its net-zero emissions target for 2050.

Following the success of Austrade's Australia-Southeast Asia Business Exchange program, which focused on Vietnam's urgent need to upskill and train its workforce in order to meet its net-zero emissions target for 2050, the seminar was held. Numerous academic experts, government officials, companies, and other organizations came together for the event to discuss how to develop a workforce prepared for the shift to a green economy.
