The 1st Hackathon Competition for French-speaking students in Vietnam on Chat GPT

With the pervasive influence of AI across various sectors, the digital era is rapidly evolving. The adoption of GPT Chat software is emerging as a global trend, captivating the interest of technology startups worldwide.

For students, engaging with Chat GPT offers an avenue to interact with an AI system, enhancing their communication skills with "robots." This, in turn, boosts their ability to communicate with other technology systems in the future and empowers them to devise innovative solutions in diverse fields. As a forward-thinking and innovative research university in Vietnam, HUST consistently provides optimal conditions for students to study, research, and cultivate their entrepreneurial spirit.

Moreover, HUST actively encourages and fosters student creativity in applying new technologies to address real-life challenges. Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh, Vice President of HUST, emphasized at the ceremony, "I believe that the competition will serve as a valuable platform for students to exchange ideas and learn. Through building applications using AI, students will showcase their confidence in technology and their ability to apply knowledge and skills to both study and practice."
 

Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh expressed his hope that the competition would not conclude merely with the final round but evolve into incubation or start-up projects, making significant contributions to national transformation and society.

For the first time, AUF, in collaboration with HUST, organized the Hackathon Competition - Chat’Innov 2023. Mr. Fabien Méheust, Vice Director of AUF Asia Pacific, shared, "I hope that the competition will attract a large number of students, honoring the best projects and offering passionate and talented programmers a promising future."
 

As per the competition's rules, participating teams will compete directly at CNF - Hanoi (Room 227, Ta Quang Buu Library, Hanoi University of Science and Technology) over 24 hours, from 9:00 a.m. on December 16, 2023, to 09:00 a.m. on December 17, 2023. During this competition, students will learn to collaborate in solving a proposed challenge, testing their patience within the stipulated 24 hours. The event aims to create positive pressure, fostering collective intelligence, creativity, and solidarity. Throughout the competition, AI experts will provide support to participating teams.
