Two HUST Alumnae Honored with "Golden Rose 2025" Title

Recently, two alumnae of Hanoi University of Science and Technology—Ms. Do Nguyet Anh, Chairperson of the Member Council of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), and Ms. Dinh Hoai Giang, General Director of Secoin Building Material Corporation—was honored by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) as "Outstanding Vietnamese Businesswomen - Golden Rose 2025".

The award recognizes outstanding businesswomen who have made significant contributions to economic development, innovation, and the dissemination of community values. The fact that two HUST alumnae were named in this list holds special significance, demonstrating the strong rising spirit of women in the fields of engineering and management.
 
Ms. Dinh Hoai Giang - cohort 24 alumna in Solid State Engineering Physics, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Ms. Dinh Hoai Giang is a cohort 24 alumna of Engineering Physics at HUST and currently the General Director of Secoin Building Material Corporation. After many years of development, Secoin has become a pioneering brand in the production of artistic tiles and eco-friendly materials, exporting to dozens of countries.

With a solid technical foundation trained at HUST, Ms. Giang brings scientific thinking into corporate governance. Secoin's products combine technological and aesthetic elements, helping to bring Vietnamese materials closer to the world. In her position as Head of the HUST Alumnae Liaison Committee, Ms. Giang also actively connects generations of female engineers, creating a space for exchange and sharing career opportunities for young students.

Ms. Giang once shared: "My years at HUST taught me logical thinking and problem-solving skills. That is what helped me stand firm when entering the business world."
 
Ms. Do Nguyet Anh - cohort 37 alumna in Power Systems, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Ms. Do Nguyet Anh is a cohort 37 alumna of the Power Systems major. Since graduating from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ms. Do Nguyet Anh has dedicated over 30 years to the power industry. She has held various management positions and is currently the Chairperson of the Member Council of EVNNPC—the largest enterprise in the Northern region in the field of electricity supply. Under her leadership, EVNNPC has promoted digital transformation, service improvement, and grid modernization to meet socio-economic development needs.

Many colleagues remark that Ms. Anh is meticulous and decisive, always seeking ways to encourage her young team to utilize their capabilities. In a challenging environment, she maintains a calm and profound demeanor—the image of a leader with both expertise and vision.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Ms. Anh said: "Women in the engineering field can achieve many things if given the opportunity and trust. The important thing is to never stop learning and to be steadfast in your choices."

Amidst various fields, the two HUST alumnae chose their own paths but aimed for the same value: Working with dedication and creating a positive impact on the community. They are women who have succeeded through ability, steadfastness, and perseverance, step by step affirming the role of women in the world of engineering and business.

The "Golden Rose 2025" title is a well-deserved reward for two outstanding businesswomen and is also the pride of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, an institution that has trained many generations of female students who dare to dream and dare to venture into the engineering field.
