Cultural Exchange Through Spring Festivities at HUST
On January 21, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) celebrated the 2025 Tet holidays with international students. The program featured traditional Vietnamese Tet activities, including calligraphy, banh chung making, and tug-of-war, offering international students a chance to experience the nation's rich customs firsthand.

Assoc. Prof. Huynh Dang Chinh, Vice President of HUST, extended New Year wishes to students, especially international ones, and emphasized the event's role in fostering cultural exchange and strengthening connections between Vietnamese and international students.

Oraiden Manuel Sabonete, a senior in Electrical Engineering from Mozambique, chose Vietnam for his studies due to his passion for Vietnamese culture. The 2025 Tet holidays mark his second time experiencing the country's traditional celebrations. Unlike Vietnam, Mozambique only observes the solar calendar, where families gather for a cozy dinner on New Year's Eve without extended festivities.
