HUST and Hanoi Medical University Hospital Forge Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

On May 14, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Hanoi Medical University Hospital signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement to collaborate on health science and technology.

The two institutions will collaborate on training, research, and equipment support. Training includes short-term advanced courses in food safety, food technology, and biotechnology, along with practical biomedical engineering training. Research will focus on AI applications in healthcare, specialized product development, and advanced diagnostic and treatment solutions. HUST will also provide technical consulting, equipment maintenance, and analytical services related to food nutrient analysis.
 

At the signing ceremony, Prof. Huynh Quyet Thang, President of HUST, emphasized the partnership as a symbol of interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous innovation. He expressed confidence that the joint efforts will yield valuable scientific and technological products, contributing to sustainable and effective healthcare improvements.
 

Prof. Nguyen Lan Hieu, Director of Hanoi Medical University Hospital, highlighted HUST’s reputation for socially impactful inventions and expressed hope that the partnership will inspire hospital staff and mark a significant milestone for both the hospital and Hanoi Medical University.

Both leaders look forward to advancing joint research projects in digital medicine, AI-based medical imaging and patient data analysis, new biomaterials, and cutting-edge medical device design, alongside interdisciplinary training to prepare the workforce for modern healthcare challenges.
