Alumni of Cohort 14 from the Faculty of Chemistry (now part of the School of Chemical and Life Sciences) gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their graduation and 55 years since their admission to HUST. They reminisced about their student days during the war, balancing their studies with national building efforts. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien recalled the days of evacuation and post-class activities. Sharing the same emotions, Dr. Phan Thi Hue, a former lecturer from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, returned with memories of classrooms and colleagues, 16 years after leaving the school.

Cohort 51 of Automotive Engineering, along with their families, gathered to visit HUST, forming a large family of over 90 members
Alumnus Khuc Truong An (Cohort 54, Automotive Engineering major), currently working at Toyota Vietnam, maintains close ties with his alma mater and former professors, particularly with Assoc. Prof. Dam Hoang Phuc, whom Mr. An considers an “idol” due to his prominence and influence in the automotive industry. Mr. An was pleased to see his mentors still active and passionate about teaching, and proud that the younger generations could learn in a more modern environment.
