On September 22, the HUST Trade Union held a ceremony honoring children of faculty, staff, and union members,  from grades 1 to 12, for their outstanding achievements in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Helping students thrive - Letting mentors shine

Unlike the bustling atmosphere of the annual BK Family Day, this year’s event set aside its usual recreational and social activities in solidarity with the people affected by storms No. 3 and No. 4.

Instead, the event focused on recognizing children with outstanding achievements. Among the 1,761 children from grades 1 to 12, 299 of them stood out: 10 won national awards, 45 received city-level awards, 98 achieved district-level awards, 106 obtained school-level awards, and 40 were admitted to HUST.

In his congratulatory speech, Assoc. Prof. Huynh Quyet Thang, President of HUST, praised the talented F1 and F2 generations for their hard work and achievements. He encouraged them to keep excelling and uphold the values of being exemplary students and worthy children of Uncle Ho.

The President of HUST thanked parents who are staff and faculty for their dedication to their job and the university, highlighting their importance as role models for their children.

"Today, the university aims to strengthen families within the Bach Khoa community, ensuring that HUST remains a place that “helps students thrive - lets mentors shine.” Behind every successful teacher are excellent students, happy families, and the strong support of HUST."
