On October 1, 2024, the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, in collaboration with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), successfully hosted the U.S. Graduate Education Fair for STEM fields at HUST. The event attracted participation from representatives of 8 prominent U.S. universities, alongside students and faculty from four major Vietnamese universities.

The fair provided Vietnamese students with valuable insights into education in STEM disciplines, offering details on programs, and scholarship opportunities. Representatives from the U.S. universities shared information about their specific graduate programs and scholarships, emphasizing opportunities for students to advance their academic and professional careers in the U.S.

The fair saw the participation of 8 leading U.S. universities, including Carnegie Mellon University, Drexel University College of Computing & Informatics, George Washington University, Lewis University, North Carolina State University, State University of New York at Binghamton, The University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of Rochester.

Vietnamese students and faculty from four universities—Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hai Phong University, Thai Nguyen University, and Hanoi University of Industry—engaged actively with the university representatives. Attendees had the opportunity to explore different academic pathways and learn about the application process for graduate programs in STEM fields.
