On May 13, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Panasonic Vietnam Co., Ltd. held the Signing Ceremony of a cooperation agreement and the handover of the HVAC laboratory.
In the atmosphere of celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the cooperation signing ceremony and handover of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system solutions laboratory between the University and the leading Japanese brand is considered a milestone of special significance. It continues to affirm the orientation of a close connection between the university and enterprises in training, research, and innovation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Khiem - Vice President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology - emphasized: "To train engineers who meet the new requirements of the era, in-depth and extensive cooperation with enterprises is a key factor. The collaboration between Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Panasonic is a typical example of the linkage model between universities and enterprises in training, research, and innovation."

Representing Panasonic Air-Conditioning Vietnam, Mr. Shinsuke Otsuki - Managing Director - said the enterprise is very honored to accompany Hanoi University of Science and Technology in this special anniversary year. He shared that, during more than 50 years of operation in Vietnam, Panasonic has always pursued the philosophy of contributing to society through industrial production activities and viewing sustainable development as a long-term journey. In the context of Vietnam accelerating urbanization and industrialization, the demand for highly skilled HVAC engineers is growing faster than the supply, requiring the joint efforts of both enterprises and training institutions.
According to Mr. Shinsuke Otsuki, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, with its leading engineering training tradition, especially the strength of the School of Mechanical Engineering in the fields of thermal engineering, refrigeration engineering, and air conditioning, is a suitable partner for Panasonic to deploy strategic cooperation activities.
